For example, a step motor with a step angle of 3.6° will have 360/3.6 = 100 steps, a motor with 1.8° will have 360/1.8 : 200 steps etc. If you had to chose between two motors with identical characteristics (Vmax and A/ph), chose the motor with the highest number of steps (in this example, the one with 1.8° as it has 200 steps). It will require a smaller rotation speed to deliver a proper voltage.
