Introduction

The solar concentrated oven is a device that uses a mirror-effect surface to concentrate solar light onto a very narrow focal point. This focal point can reach extremely high temperatures, up to several thousand degrees Celsius, making it a very powerful tool for producing thermal energy.

Concentrated solar ovens are considered a clean and sustainable energy source that can replace conventional energy sources such as fossil fuels.

Étape 1 - Préparation du support roulant / Preparation of the rolling stand

Français : Utilisez une table roulante , avec une tôle rectangulaire qu'il faut fixer à l'aide d'une perceuse et des vis sur le support pour poser le tube qui portera la parabole par la suite.

English : Use a rolling table, with a rectangular sheet that needs to be fixed with a drill and screws on the stand to place the tube that will support the parabolic dish later.

Étape 2 - Pose du film à effet mirroir sur la parabole / Placement of the mirror film on the parabolic dish

Français : Collez le film à effet mirroir sur toute la surface de la parabole en le découpant en petits morceaux pour éviter que des bulles ne se forment.

English : Stick the mirror film onto the entire surface of the parabolic dish by cutting it into small pieces to prevent bubbles from forming.

Étape 3 - Fixation de la parabole sur le support / Attachment of the parabolic dish to the stand

Français : Fixer la parabole sur le support à l'aide des clés de serrage.

English : Attach the parabolic dish to the stand using the wrenches.

Étape 4 - Préparation du support du plat /Preparation of the plate support

Français : Utilisez la partie de la parabole en métal qui permet de fixer l'angle afin d'adapter l'orientation du plat avec celle de la parabole en visant le point focal qui nous permettra la cuisson. On avait besoin de deux entretoises pour serrer la barre contre le support afin de changer l'angle d'inclinaison du plat et l'ajuster avec l'angle du support de la surface parabolique. Une tôle métallique pliée (en se servant d'un étau) également a été utilisée afin de fixer la barre sur la parabole.

English : Use the metal part of the parabolic dish that allows you to adjust the angle to align the plate's orientation with that of the parabolic dish by aiming at the focal point that will allow us to cook. We needed two spacers to tighten the bar against the stand in order to change the angle of inclination of the plate and adjust it with the angle of the parabolic surface stand. A bent metal sheet (using a vise) was also used to secure the bar on the parabolic dish.

Étape 5 - Fixation de la grille / Grid attachment

Français : Découpez la grille de la taille qui vous convient et fixez la à l'aide des fils de cuivre.

English : Cut the grid to the desired size and secure it using copper wires.
