Put 500mL of vinegar in a container and gently add the bicarbonate of soda (you will see a gas being released as it foams, this is carbon dioxide).
Pour this solution into the 500mL of boiling water in the pan and allow the solution to evaporate: you will notice crystals forming at the bottom of the pan.
Remove the crystals from the bottom of the saucepan and crush them so that they fit into the container (in this case, the Pompotes flask).
Bring the water to the boil and melt the mixture in the flask at a low temperature until the mixture is liquid.
Add the paperclip and then stir the sachet to crystallize the sodium acetate which, being exothermic, will provide us with heat!
To reuse it, repeat steps 4 and 5.
