There are at least three ways of making a diesel engine run with vegetable oil: *blending it with petro-diesel, a solvent or petrol; *using it as it is - usually called huile végétale carburant (HVC, SVO in English) or recycled vegetable oil (HVR, WVO in English); *converting it into biodiesel. The two first methods look easy, but as for many things, it isn’t that simple.
